Discover BWRT

Some say it’s the fastest therapy in the world

Important notice

This is not our main website but is essentially a ‘showcase’ to show what BWRT can do, the types of problem it can work effectively with, how to find a professional BWRT practitioner, and/or how to find out about training, if that piques your interest.

Is anxiety fake news?

If you know why you’ve got it and reckon it’s normal under the circumstances, then it’s definitely not fake. But when you have no idea why you’re feeling it so badly – or any other uncomfortable feeling, come to that – then it’s usually the result of an error message from the subconscious to the rest of your brain and body.  Fake news, in other words. More often than not, it’ll be because of something you’ve completely forgotten about.  But relax! We don’t need to discover what it was. We just need to update the information the subconscious holds, and BWRT makes that an easy task.

The Practitioner

Right from the very beginning of BWRT training, practitioners learn all about the erroneous messages to the brain and body from the subconscious, and how to sort the situation out with the mininum of fuss.

And it’s not just about anxiety either. It includes everything that affects the human mind and causes stress – career worries, relationship issues, guilt, shame and embarrassment, absent self-confidence, and more.

So, does BWRT really work?

Yes, it really does!

BWRT stands for BrainWorking Recursive Therapy, a solution-focused, neuroscience-based psychotherapy model which was launched in 2013 and became almost immediately successful, quickly proving its value in working with all manner of psychological difficulties from minor phobias and fears all the way up to profoundly life-altering PTSD.

As a result, it has been eagerly adopted as a major first-call therapy by many psychologists, counsellors, psychiatrists and psychotherapists in South Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, USA, Canada and its country of origin, the United Kingdom.

But what makes it so different?

BWRT is not just an updated version of hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP, EMDR, or any other of the older therapies. In all those methods (some of them dating back to the 1930s or earlier) a lot of time is taken up  exploring the mind and personal life to discover where to actually start work. BWRT doesn’t need any of that, just using the brain’s own processes to go immediately to where the work is needed.

There’s more. BWRT introduces the idea that what has always been called ‘the subconscious’ is in fact a part of the physical brain, and that realisation is partly the reason for its outrageous success in the years since its launch. It confers a greater understanding of how therapy truly works, which leads inevitably to a higher level of success, no matter what the presenting difficulty is.

Even better, perhaps, BWRT works 100% as well online, or even on the phone, as it does in a face-to-face setting.

In Person Therapy

Face to face, that is visiting the practitioner physically, feels more comfortable for some people. It is perhaps more private than working in front of your home computer where a family member might decide to listen in.

Not all practitioners provide the opportunity to work this way now though, expecially since BWRT works every bit as well online as it does ‘in person’. So if you want to work this way, you’ll need to find a practitioner within travelling distance of your location.

Online Therapy

Thanks to the reliability and speed of the internet these days, BWRT is every bit as effective online as it is in a face-to-face setting. It can even work just on the phone, or online without a camera – as long as you and the practitioner can hear each other, the therapy can be delivered perfectly.

There are two special advantages of working this way.  The first is that you don’t need to travel anywhere, and the second is that you have a world-wide choice of practitioners to choose from.

What sort of things does BWRT work with?

BWRT is an entire therapy system in its own right and can help with just about any psychological problem you can think of, sometimes with even the psychological aspects of serious physical conditions – though that would need a Level Three trained practitioner. BWRT excels in many situations, including common issues like these:

Phobias & Fears

No matter how ‘silly’ they might seem to other people, at BWRT we understand just how severely a phobia or fear can dominate your entire life.

Addiction

Every single one of our Advanced Practitioners is thoroughly trained to help with all forms of addiction/dependency and it is possible to get clean and stay clean.

Despair

Despair can arise for any number of reasons but it often starts with anxiety or depression, and quickly sets in after a realisation that nothing seems to help.

Personal Confidence

A lack of personal confidence can stem from poor self-esteem, sometimes the result of the experiences of our growing up years.

Relationship Issues

Almost everybody will experience problems with relationships at some point in their lives, in love, careers, or in family disputes.

More good news! If you’re not looking to fix anything, but really  want to improve your life in some way, perhaps become an entrepeur or launch that business you’ve had in the back of your mind for ages, then the BWRT PLUS  programme might’ve been designed especially for you!

We have Registered Practitioners in many parts of the world and if they are listed on our practitioners website, it indicates that they undergo regular supervision and retraining to ensure their skills are fully updated.

 Confidentiality

All Registered BWRT Practitioners are required to adhere to a strict professional code in which confidentiality is considered as being of the utmost importance.

The BWRT Practitioner is non-judgmental, completely understanding that nobody can control what they think or how they feel, only the way they respond to such thoughts or feelings. Everybody has thoughts and feelings they prefer to keep to themselves and the BWRT Practitioner will not insist they be divulged. On very rare occasions, it may be beneficial to explore such thoughts and feelings, but you can still insist on maintaining a core of total privacy, when the practitioner will provide the best therapy possible in the circumstances.
